To conduct monitoring/supervision visits from the project site and provide timely technical support for smooth implementation of the PPP project.
The CSO Support Type B Field Officer will report to CSO support National focal point and will be responsible for the following:
o Provide technical assistance and capacity building to implanter NGOs involved in implementation of PPP project.
o Provide and analysis of performance of the PPP project according to regular reporting information, monitoring missions and other assessment mechanisms.
o Make sure that Private Health Practitioners (PHPs) performing based on signed MoU with implementer NGOs.
o Make sure that the PHPs received the required training based on NGOs work plan.
o Make sure that PHPs equipped with the necessary supplies needed for provision of EPI and Basic Reproductive Health services.
o Provide timely support to implementer NGOs as well as PHPs during his/ her visit.
o In coordination with implementer NGOs, develop tracking mechanism to assure the number of OPDs reported by the PHPs is consisting with the communities received the services.
o Compile the monitoring reports of all NGOs involved in the implementation of the PPP project.
o Compare the field activities with the reports and reports with the contracts of the project for further process.
Note: Please note that the contract type is Agreement for Performance of Work (APW)
To be a medical doctor
With at least one year experience in monitoring and evaluation of health services.
At least 3 years of experience of work in public health with the NGOs and UN agencies and ideally with MoPH.
Fluency in one of the national language, fluency in English language is proffered.
Willingness to travel to remote areas (Urozgan, Farah, Paktia and Nuristan, Kandahar and Helmand Provinces)
Familiarity with computer programs and internet use.
