Job Summary

Under the overall supervision of ITC head, the incumbent will be responsible to provide IT related support to all users throughout the organization, which will include first line support (hardware and software).

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist in setup, configuration and maintenance of all NPA servers, desktops, mobiles, hardware, systems and applications
2. To provide hardware and software technical support to all NPA staff
3. To arrange and repair the ICT equipment in market in case it cannot be repaired in office
4. Assist in-house users on all aspects of IT support
5. Manage all backups and assist in disaster recovery process
6. Help develop and maintain IT documentation, processes and procedures
7. Make sure all ICT equipment are functional
8. Make sure quality internet services are provided to NPA staff
9. Prepare technical specifications for procurement of new equipment
10. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by line manager

Job Requirements

IV. Qualifications & Experiences:
a) Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science or any other related fields.

b) Work Experience:

Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience working with NGOs or government organizations.

c) Language Requirement:

Excellent communication skills in at least one of the national languages (Pashto or Dari) and in English.

d) Key Skills and Competencies:

Must have Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT.

Experience in designing and managing LAN, digital systems, wireless applications, website design, web casting, database design, and intranet.

Considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the staff.

e) Reporting Responsibility:

IT / Helpdesk Assistant is responsible for reporting to the IT department head.

Must have Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT.
