French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children (FMIC) was founded in 2006 is a unique public-private partnership between the Governments of Afghanistan and France, a French NGO – La Chaine de L’Espoir and the Aga Khan Development Network through the Aga Khan University Hospital. FMIC embodies a sign of hope for the medical care of children in Kabul. The Institute has risen to the challenge of charting a course towards sustainable health solutions for Afghanistan. It is the first ISO certified hospital in Afghanistan, aiming to provide compassionate, accessible, cost-effective, high quality care services to the population of Afghanistan. 

Job Summary

Assisting colleagues in OPD, IPD, ICU, CCU, CICU and Cath lab 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the senior colleagues in case of any medical issue arising
• Assist the senior colleagues in OPD, IPD, ICU, CCU, CICU and Cath lab
• Prepare patients and their files for Cath lab procedures
• Coordinate with IPD doctors in case if admission is required
• Perform night duties
• Maintain quality of care
• Assure continuity of care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Job Requirements

·        MD from a recognized University

·        Post Graduate in Medicine 

·        At least 3 years of experience in relevant field

·        Excellent Communication and interpersonal skill in Dari, English and Pashto languages

·        Having Good computer skills specially in MS Office programs
