The Operations & Technical Manager will look after planning, execution and managing of all the day-to-day operations & technical section of the company. He will be responsible for the smooth flow and movement of operations to ensure maximum client’s satisfaction & company’s profitability; he will ensure attaining established operational and financial goals of the company and provide empower the technical support section of the company.
Operational Responsibilities:
1. Develop and regularly update operational manual/procedures for all key processes of Operations Department.
2. Oversee and lead the day-to-day operational activities by ensuring the effective implementation of established policies & procedures, soundness of operations and proper coordination across the company.
3. Ensure that the company's operational infrastructure support smooth execution of day-to-day operations.
4. Establish and regularly enhance the measurements for effective internal control in operational activities.
5. Evaluate the current process of constructing & maintaining telecom towers and suggest alternatives considering cost mitigation and securing quality services.
6. Provide required support to all sites on timely manner.
7. Prevent any negligence/misusage of company’s materials & equipment provided to sites for company’s operations.
8. Make sure that all sites are running up 24/7 and smoothly.
9. Develop and maintaining a proper database and reporting system for Operations Department.
10. Regular visit of sites ensuring proper maintenance and technical check-up.
11. Prepare budget for operations department.
12. Revision of current suppliers’ contracts and finding out new suppliers (in case of need).
13. Develop and execute a proper and organized process (package) for implementing new projects.
14. Enhance the performance, training and development process of operational staff in consultation with HR department.
15. Set performance targets for direct reports, monitor performance and provide feedback/coaching for further development.
16. Liaise with the relevant governmental authorities on operational compliance and reporting requirements.
17. Responsible for setting operational strategy for making the company ahead of competitors in the market.
18. Track audit action plan and their implementation.
Technical Responsibilities:
19. Evaluate the current electricity system used in telecom towers and recommend best alternative provided cost is reduced and system is secured.
20. Conversion of AC power to DC and recommend permanent solutions accordingly.
21. Monitor and take appropriate measurements for mitigating different risks involved in technical processes & procedures.
22. Regular check-up of available electronic machineries and its proper maintenance.
23. Assessment/allocation of resources to ensure sufficient technical resources are available to meet each site’s requirements.
24. Liaise with relevant governmental authorities for finding out solutions on city power issues.
