Job Summary

Training Manager has to be hired as an employee of AUAF to improve BIH’s employees’ skills through various training programs. BIH is located on the international campus at American University of Afghanistan (AUAF).

The Training Manager will report to the Director of the Business Innovation Hub, and will be an employee of AUAF. Training Manager will follow AUAF personnel policies and other policies and procedures of the university and will abide by all of the appropriate AUAF employee rules and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Training Manager will be responsible for the effective development and presentation of business training to BIH clients and for the development of programs for improving the productivity of the clients’ employees. The Training Manager will also help with the constant, long-term improvement of BIH’s employees' skills, empowering them to fulfil their potential within BIH.
In addition, the Training Manager will:

Develop internal and external curriculum

Identify the area of suitable training for BIH team

Work with curriculum and incubation

Translate curriculum

Conduct orientation sessions

Provide feedback on the performances through effective training materials

Prepare and implement the training budget

Develop strategic plans for the company’s employee development
Test and evaluate trainees’ progress

Job Requirements


Master’s Degree in Education or Business

Experienced in delivering trainings

Has either run his or her own business or has been part of a startup business

Fluent written and verbal English, Dari and Pashto

Ability to multi-task, reliable, approachable

Excellent presentation skills

Good influence, negotiation and problem solving

Strong management, communication and leadership skills

Strong ability to deliver programs on time and with excellence

Energy and enthusiasm to motivate trainees

Good computer skills

Well-organized and professional

Experienced in delivering trainings
