Afghanaid is a British-registered international NGO, which has worked in Afghanistan for over 30 years. We are headquartered in Kabul, and operate 20 provincial and district offices across Badakhshan (north-eastern region), Samangan (northern region) and Ghor (western region), as well as a Marketing and Fundraising office in London. Irrigation/Catchment Construction Engineer will be responsible for Survey, Design, Estimation, Proposal and implementation of construction projects. Coordination and supervision of the project’s interventions; ensuring smooth implementation in the respective province to support the Project Manager and all relevant field staff.
Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator, the civil engineer will implement the project at the community level. She/he will closely work with field staff and project beneficiaries in 5 districts of Ghor & Samangan province. Impart regular visits to beneficiaries in the field, conduct physical survey, designing and implementation of the construction projects.
The Agriculture officer will serve as the main technical person for all agricultural and natural resource management related activities of the project. Regularly visits to farmer’s field and provide technical agriculture training.
