Admin Assistant/Laboratory Technician (FSN-07)
This position combines the duties of an administrative assistant and a Laboratory Technician. The incumbent reports to the Health Unit (HU) Administrator and performs a variety of professional, operational and technical duties for the HU. The administrative part (80%) is co-managed with another position to allow continuously HU functions to operate without interruption. This includes all the responsibilities and duties in the day by day operations at one of the largest, complex HU's in the Foreign Service at one of the national security postings. The other 20% of the time this person is responsible to perform in house laboratory studies supplementing the full time Laboratory Technician.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education: Graduate of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health care, business, or management.
Experience: Minimum three years of administrative and office management experience is required.
Language: Level 3 English in speaking and writing. Level 4 Dari in speaking and writing.
Knowledge: Sound knowledge of laboratory procedures and medical terminology.
Abilities and Skills: Customer service orientation. Ability to organize and manage medical records. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to work under stress.
