Job Summary

Afghan Bureau Collaboration Office is looking for a self-motivated and young local graduate in field of Agriculture and Horticulture in Sheberghan to be recruited as an Intern.

Duties & Responsibilities

The intern will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and in close collaboration with all Project’s team. The intern role consists of the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Develop the strategy and framework to promote the development of cooperatives and farmers associations in the region;

2. Develop a guide and a power point presentation that will guide the process of developing cooperatives or farmers associations in the region;

3. Prepare and implement trainings and workshops for farmers to prepare organization chart, statute, roles and responsibilities, etc.;

4. Support the project team on preparing communication materials: 

Job Requirements

Education

Application to the ABCO internship program must meet the following requirements:

1-     Must be local who complete the above program requirements (resident of Sheberghan Province)

2-     Fresh graduates university in field of such as: Agricultural, agronomy and Horticulture.


Technical/Functional Competencies:

·        Knowledge of business development, economy, agriculture, public administration, or related areas;

·        Knowledge in farmers groups capacity development, business development, social and solidarity economy or preparing training materials;

·        knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word and Excel, and PowerPoint.
