Job Summary

CHA invites applications from qualified Afghan candidates for its Qandahar based position+ travel

Duties & Responsibilities

Specific Duties:

1. Arranging of regular meetings with local CDCs for explaining project planning and strategies and voucher distribution
2. Identification of project beneficiaries in close coordination with CDCs and local authorities
3. Developing and providing activities implementation plan for project staff.
4. Develop positive relation with agriculture field office staff.
5. Have skills to motivate and stimulate extension workers and other project related staff.
6. Perform regular follow up from working plan of related staff
7. Performing of regular supervision from project progress and providing technical consultancy for extension workers and project beneficiaries.
8. Identification of beneficiaries problem related to agronomic issues and offering a proper solution to address those problems.
9. Provide training for related staff in order to facilitate smooth running of project planned activities
10. Provide timely, monthly project progress report.
11. Coordination and motivation of related staff for conducting need assessment survey and performing it is process follow up in the field
12. Willing to accomplish his duty outside their related location if needed.
13. Data collection and project documentation
14. Provide timely, monthly project progress report.
15. Foster a positive and productive professional work environment.

Job Requirements

1. University degree ( Agronomy )
2. Excellent management skills
3. Experience in managing of projects.
4. Good planning skills.
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Good in developing project implementation procedures
7. Fluency in English, Dari / Pashto.
8. Competent in the use of key computer software programs.
9. Minimum 3 years experience in related field
10. Ability to travel to districts and targeted villages.
11. Ability to work independently, to self-motivate and organize your own time and work independently.
