Having a best in house trainers and experts who have years of experience in developing and maintaining online shop in Amazon.com we are now working on developing a team who will work on listing, managing inventory, order processing and managing our online Shop of “Afghan Naturals” which targets USA, Canada and Europe marketplaces for supplying Afghan products as well as products from other e-commerce platforms e.g. Alibaba, Noon in middle east on Amazon. We will also provide third party or virtual services to our clients Amazon shops in Afghanistan e.g. in Kabul, Hirat, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Balkh and Kunduz regional provinces.
Job Summary
At Ruby Events & Tech, your primary responsibility is to maximize the performance of our Amazon and other Marketplace channels to meet or exceed set financial objectives for the channels. You will establish and implement marketplace strategies and best practices and oversee the execution of tactics to maximize profit from Amazon and other online marketplaces such as eBay, Alibaba, and others.
You as Amazon Trainer (Part Time) are responsible to provide and manage our Amazon online shop as well as to provide on the job and off the job coaching/training to the internees regarding performing Amazon online business and basic warehousing and stock orders such as overseeing the offloading of merchandise, deciphering work orders, locating stock, packing goods for shipping, online orders received, merchandise distribution processes, improving warehouse operation and monitoring the movement of inventory, keeping up-to-date and accurate records, and ensuring that inventories are well-organized and maintained as per the standards of Amazon.
Duties & Responsibilities
Marketplace & Operations
Own the channel strategy, revenue and profitability achievement, roadmap & execution, including listings, content, reviews management, conversion optimization, personalization, A/B & multivariate testing, etc.
Execute to deliver monthly and annual Channel revenue and profitability goals
Drive growth and profitability by optimizing our product assortment, bundles, and variations strategy for each marketplace.
Coordinate product setup, including copy, images, enhanced content, keywords, attributes, and other product data with internal and external partners.
Oversee all aspects of Amazon and marketplace product listings, ensuring product accuracy, clearly articulated value propositions, and conversion optimization, including:
Creating and updating product detail pages and associated A+ content
Conducting SEO keyword research and related copy creation (both frontend and backend)
Develop and oversee the execution of revenue and profit growth strategies involving ratings and reviews, paid advertising, promotional strategies (coupons, lightning deals, etc.) and product listing optimizations.
Work with internal and external paid teams to optimize profit from paid campaigns.
Optimize performance based on key marketplace KPIs such as organic ranking.
Continually assess priority of activities to maximize profit across all marketplaces.
Collaborate with Sales, Brand, and Finance to identify and optimize pricing levels.
Actively monitor and react to the competitive landscape (pricing, content, promotions, reviews, etc.).
Focus on product rankings related to key search terms and work with our Digital team to improve existing rankings and identify new ranking opportunities.
Identify opportunities to expand into new and underserved marketplaces.
Work with our operations teams to proactively assess and address inventory needs.
Oversee partner relationships, serving as the primary liaison.
Training & Development
The manager shall understand the internees that how they play a key role in the Amazon goods or merchandise distribution process and how they are saddled with the responsibility of improving warehouse operations.
Develop the complete implementation plan for providing training & development within an agreed time frame.
Use the lessons learned and the feedback from the classes to improve the curriculum and content materials of the subject.
Adequate knowledge of Amazon online business, Learning and other web delivery tools.
Pre- and post-evaluation of the trainees for each training and reporting the synthesis of this exercise to the line-superiors.
Motivate trainees to participate in all aspects of the educational process actively.
Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to support students in their learning journey.
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, enhance engagement, and track results Provide ideas and inputs to make the training programs active and interesting to the participants.
Maintain expertise in the subject area and ensure curriculum content remains up-to-date and relevant.
Perform any other relevant work as assigned by the line supervisor.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, or e-commerce is essential.
At least 2 years of experience as amazon FBA/FBM operations, coaching and training.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data and marketplace analysis tools
An excellent understanding of industry best practices and trends in marketplace management
Having excellent knowledge of fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and fulfilled by merchant (FBM) processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Extensive understanding of marketplace business models
Excellent attention to detail
Curious mind with a desire to continue to learn and grow professionally
Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to collaborate with a team remotely
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Fluency in English, both written and verbal & knowledge of the local languages Pashto & Dari is essential
