Job Summary

Administer and run the overall livestock project of HRO, do health check-ups, inspecting the living spaces of animals to ensure that the animals are free from possible sources of infection.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:


Developing monthly, quarterly and annual plan of the livestock project according the office target.

Survey areas where livestock project is applicable.

Prepare documentation and reports relating to animal husbandry activities according to schedules as agreed with the Regional Manager

Project Activities

To plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor activities for

Proper training for the clients on animal husbandry activities

Cooperate in selection and purchasing the required domestic animals with aim to enhance the clients revenue

Proper visit from clients livestock and provides the required technical advices

Improve animal feeding and management for improvement of livestock nutrition and health.

Special attention in reduction of morbidity and mortality rates through better management of the living spaces of animals, sanitation management, grazing strategies and etc.

Proper heath check-ups, vaccination and prescribing the needed medicines. In especial cases of disease should consult with specialists and find solutions.

Advice availability and usage of quality fodder from forage crops, residues and trees

Focus on overall objective to increase the clients livestock profitability

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in Veterinary

Two years’ experience in relevant field

Inspection and enforcing all relevant status to control and regulation of animals and all other related work as required.
