Priorities of MCIT:

To deliver the Telecom and IT services to remote areas throughout the country 

To supply high speed internet to the people in Afghanistan 

To design, develop and deploy the technical platform of the National Identity Card (NID) and provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on the successful implementation of project"

To extend the fiber optic network in the country 

To replace the existing analogue television (TV) broadcasting systems by digital TV broadcasting systems in the country and tighten regulations for broadcasting companies 

To enhance the capacity of the Afghan government by introducing the concept of e-Government and encourage all the ministries to integrate ICT within their main work based on it services and electronic government

Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description:

·        Plan, execute, and facilitate the project interventions strictly according to the approved plan, budget and time frame.

·        Prepare project detail implementation plan, lead project team and perform project administrative work.

·        Manage resources and coordinates efforts of the team members to deliver the project effectively and efficiently.

·        Ensure that the project meets the stipulated and expected results of the project by overseeing the quality control of the whole project cycle.

·        Manage day to day project operations following approved and agreed policy and procedure accordingly.

·        Establish strong coordination with relevant Stakeholders and project’s implementation company.

·        Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

·        Assists in development and implementation of standards and processes.

·        Manages project schedule, budget and control the project activities, manage the changes and take necessary action in case of variances.

·        Create project’s documents, including scope of work, project charter, integrate the project plans.

·        Monitoring and supervision of the project’s progress and provide recommendation accordingly and as needed.

·        Prepared weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly project reports.

·        Ensure teamwork for achieving the project target effectively by promoting team spirit as well as by managing and leading the project Staff.

·        Ensure compliance to the relevant safety, health and environmental procedure across the department for building peaceful working environment.

·        Ensure that different kinds of reports are submitted to top management on time and according to their requirement.

·        Perform other duties as assigned by top management.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor degree in relevant field and Master will be preferred.

Experience:

8 years working experience in related field for bachelor and 5 years for Masters.
