Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

•Daily vehicle inspections
•Keep vehicles clean and serviceable
•Handover and takeover procedures
•Be aware and up to date on all routes and alternative routes
•Conduct missions either high or low profile as determined by the mission needs
•Correct movement procedures (spacing and speed)
•Conduct day and night patrols
•Visit client houses and sites
•Know immediate action drills in case of emergency
•Correct use of weapons/force
•Ensure the safety of convoys

Job Requirements

•Demonstrate a flexible and positive approach towards performing allocated duties
•Primary school education; drivers training with a valid driver license.
•Two years work experience as a driver with a safe driving record
•Conversant (basic business and general ability to speak and write) in both English and one (1) local language
•English – speak: Level to understand commands, vehicle component identification and security industry related terminology
•Physically healthy and fit
•Complete SSSI Basic Security Driver Course successfully
•Complete SSSI Intermediary Security Driver Course successfully
•Age 18-35
•Driving experience minimum 6 months – No Accidents (Traceable records)
•Basic First Aid – Desirable
•Basic Fire Fighting –Desirable
