Job Summary

To assist the Business Development Manager with the day-to-day, practical business development and marketing communications support. This varied role will involve supporting on a combination of regular ongoing BD and marketing activities and one-off projects. There is a high administrative element to this role to ensure the smooth running of the department and the successful individual will be expected to not shy away from extra work to complete any BD and Marketing project as required.
The ability to work in a team, follow instructions and pay attention to detail are essential. As members of the wider Business Development team, the role holders will work closely with the other business development professionals as well as have daily interaction with staff of all levels within the firm.

Duties & Responsibilities


Report to the Business Development Manager

Assisting with bid management, dealing with Quotation/Proposal submissions

Ensure a smooth line of communication is maintained between staff and clients via e-mail

Putting together of marketing materials

Administrative work within the Business Development Department

Data entry

Creating and sending RFQs

Market Research

Follow up on leads and opportunities

Other similar tasks as signed by management.

Job Requirements


A Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business Administration

3 to 4 years of experience in Marketing/Sales

Relevant marketing and business development experience in the IT sector

Knowledge of technical aspects of IT and technology highly desirable

Desire to progress a career in Marketing

Excellent writing and IT Skills

The ability to work independently

Strong communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
