Job Summary

Business Intelligence Officer provides insights through data-driven analytics using tools, techniques, and business intelligence within the Telecom space to help make key strategic decisions. This position covers processing, querying, and interpreting large-scale datasets to serve commercial division, improve customer experience, or enhance overall productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Data Management: Implement best data management and governance practices to maintain data sets' integrity, accuracy, and security.

• Reporting: Create and manage BI dashboards, and reports using SQL Server, pgAdmin, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Access, or similar tools.

• Analysis: Cursory review and interpretation of large, heterogeneous data sets from diverse sources to detect trends, patterns, and deeper insights. Should be capable of conducting product and services pre- and post-launch analysis.

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role within the telecom or similar industry.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools like Power BI, SQL, pgAdmin, Python, data visualization, MS Excel, and MS Access.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
