Job Summary

Jobs.af is launching its career counselling services by setting up career centers in key provinces of Afghanistan. The role of career counsellor will be to assist jobseekers in finding job by providing them pre-employment trainings, career building advise and matching jobseekers to new jobs advertised on Jobs.af

Duties & Responsibilities

Career counselors will meet with trainee and assess their work history, educational background, specialized training, skills and personal information. They will administer aptitude tests and personality assessments to trainee that help identify career fields that may suit them. Career counselors discuss career options with trainee, and work with them to develop job search skills. Career counselors also find job openings for clients and assist them with the application process. They will help trainee prepare for interviews by conducting practice sessions. Career counselors also provide advice to trainee who have lost their jobs, are changing careers or may be experiencing stress or conflict at work. The career counselor will help the trainee how write a cover letter, CV and interview skills. The career counselor will be responsible for giving training to the trainees about the organizational behavior.

Job Requirements

- At least 2-3 years of experience in Human Resource or Career Counselling
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Marketing Skills
Expertise in resume writing, cover letter writing, counselling
