Job Summary

Plan & Build the Transmission Network infrastructure for Etisalat Afghanistan.

Duties & Responsibilities

Planning and Design the fiber optic network.

Set up, issue, review and maintain Splice Engineering Packages.

Set up, issue, review and maintain Patch cord assignment.

Set up, issue, review and maintain Engineering Cabling Packs.

Analyze fiber optic test results in a prompt and precise manner.

Receive and review network As-built information.

Assist with the implementation of network monitoring fibers, including the analysis of alarms.

Personal development - update relevant knowledge & skills in line with trends and developments in the field.

Plan for the STM, SDH, DWDM, Metro Ethernet\", xDSL

Support the management and development by taking part in business planning and work in liaison with other teams.

Comply with departmental and corporate controls and procedures and all internal control processes.

Undertake any other ad hoc duties as deemed appropriate by the appropriate Manager / Director

Strong knowledge on MW is Mandatory.

Tracking the MW Project as per project Plan

Job Requirements

B.Sc. In Electrical & Electronics / Telecom Engineering from a reputed university
5 years experience in related field.
Good Knowledge & skills in OFC transmission network planning in-detail covering performance
In-depth knowledge on planning tool like Pathless, MapInfo, Connect 7.0
Deep understanding of Huawei ,NEC & Nera MW equipment
Knowledge in IP & DCN Planning will be an advantage
