Job Summary

To oversee the development, integration, implementation, and administration of the marketing and sales division of the Afghan Telecom and effectively represent the Afghan Telecom services, and ensure that company’s positioning in the market drives consistent organic growth..

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Create a structured, efficient, and accountable environment for the sales and marketing department.
2. Drive development of a clear marketing strategy, unique messaging and positioning of the Telecom services.
3. Oversee the work of all marketing and sales contractors in the refinement of existing customer groups.
4. Facilitate meetings/ process to identify strategic initiatives.
5. Influence the company’s marketing and sales functions to evolve towards greater focus on product distinction and market penetration
6. Develop and maintain an analysis that clearly defines return on investment (ROI) of marketing program, measure ROI on an ongoing basis.
7. Partner with other public and private sector entities to identify and quantify marketing and promotional opportunities for growth.
8. Plan and roll out annual and quarterly sales growth goals.
9. Identifying new markets and customers.
10. Set goals and objectives for sales teams, monitoring progress and ensuring goals met or surpassed.
11. Manage and maintain the overall marketing budget.
12. Oversee marketing and sales operations for 34 provinces of Afghanistan.

Job Requirements


Bachelor degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred.

At least 7 years of Marketing and Telecom Experience

Excellent organizational, planning and management skills

Excellent Communication Skills

Proven problem solving skills

Strong leadership and consensus building skills

Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills
