About NATO Afghanistan - Resolute Support

Resolute Support is a NATO-led, non-combat mission. It was launched on January 1, 2015, following the conclusion of the previous NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission, and the assumption of full security responsibility by the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF). Its purpose is to help the Afghan security forces and institutions develop the capacity to defend Afghanistan and protect its citizens in a sustainable manner. The mission performs supporting functions in several areas. These include: operational planning; budgetary development; force generation process; management and development of personnel; logistical sustainment; and civilian oversight (in order to ensure the Afghan security forces and institutions act in accordance with the rule of law and good governance).

Job Summary

The incumbent Cleaner/ Worker is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of HQ RS compound.

Duties & Responsibilities

Performs routine and non routine cleaning requirements for female accommodation blocks in HQ RS. May have daily contact with S1 Reception Center/ Billeting.

The work is normally performed in a Normal NATO office working environment / Secure office environment with artificial light and air (e.g. Bunker). Normal Working Conditions apply. 

Job Requirements

Experience in cleaning.

Language: English: Satisfactory level of written and spoken language skills.

Note: The work both oral and written in this post and in this Headquarters as a whole is conducted mainly in English.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous cleaning experience. 

Must be trustworthy and have good interpersonal skills. Well-organized, reliable and methodical.

Able to work independently as well as a part of the team.

Additional Remarks:

An initial 12 month contract will be offered and contract extensions may be possible. Because of the dynamic environment, RS posts are under regular review and therefore post details and responsibilities, including contract duration and contractual grade may change during the advertising and contractual period.

Benefit Package:

Monthly salary of € 341.00 Meal Allowance of € 185.00 per month
