Work closely with communities, on the community mobilization and strengthening of the project boundary partners.
Facilitate community meetings workshop and trainings at field level.
Provide recommendations to project boundary partners on the villagers to implement project actives and fully fill their responsibilities according to the agreements signed.
Mobilize community, groups, watershed association to actively participates in planning, implementation and monitoring of rangeland and watershed projects;
Conducts training need assessment for committees, extension workers and community members in watershed/ rangeland and proposed the training and workshop;
Develop and implement training programs for committees, extension workers and community members;
Establish rapport with key leaders of the villages design;
Assist interested groups leaders in mobilizing its members to participate in groups activities and answer groups need in area;
Link between project activities and the target communities;
Assist in the strengthening of communities and motivate them to work on identified socio-economic activities;
Facilitate organizing trainings at community level;
Hold orientation meetings with committees and villages;
Keep close contact with elders, shura members and mullahs and be their contact person;
Organize regular community meetings to introduce project activities as well as discuss plans and problems and gain active participations;
Collect information about the communities concerned issues and information on the project needs;
Prepare the weekly and monthly plan and report;
Any other tasks assigned by supervisor and management for the better performance of the program(s).
Four years or more of experience in a similar position.
Bachelor’s or MA degree required.
Well-versed in Excel and other MS office applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Pashto and Dari
Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team to undertake tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for male and female colleagues.
