Job Summary

- Availability to fly to MSF projects in the field.
- Fluent English.
- Pashtu and Dari speaker
- Capacity to work with the different sections of the mission.
- High organizational sense.
- AutoCAD fluent use.
- Knowledge of the local building regulations

Duties & Responsibilities

 Produce architectural, engineering, and work drawings.
 Cost control.
 Produce tender document and contract form (then drawings, bill of quantities, terms of reference etc)
 Project management / site supervision (cost control, schedule management, quality control, and others)
 Implementation of maintenance strategy for the new supported structures and produce maintenance manuals
 Evaluation of local supplies for the quality and services

Job Requirements

In addition to the architectural and construction skill (compulsory), reading, writing and speaking in English, Dari and Pashto. Appropriate knowledge of the national construction related laws and regulations (technical, legal, administrative)
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction within NGOs or equivalent organizations ; better if he/she has both skills of drawings and construction work supervision ( project management)
