Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating the day to day activities of associated functions like Training, Financial Management, HR Management and ICT.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and implement activities that build capacity of municipal government employees in human resources, financial management, and project management;
• Manage and implement activities that contribute to local job creation and long term economic development;
• Work side by side with municipal government officials to incorporate citizen input into government decision making;
• Identify opportunities to involve local NGO and private firms in municipal service delivery;

Job Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration or related fields.
• Background in training and designing training methodology.
• 3-5 years of work experience in an equivalent positions. Experience working in a similar position for an NGO or an international organization is preferred.
• Excellent language skills of Dari, Pashtu and English, both written and spoke.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work with multinational teams
Ability to travel to all provinces of Afghanistan
