Under direct supervision of international maintenance advisor the Contract Supply Specialist shall advise, mentor, and lead up to four (4) ANA members to ensure parts requests and work orders are properly filled out, verify the correct part has been ordered, conduct follow up actions and continual tracking of needed repair parts.
Contract Supply Specialist shall provide guidance and support that enables the ANA Supply Specialist to maintain an authorized stock list of parts (ASL), receive, stock, and inventory parts and support equipment.
They shall lead, instruct and advise ANA Supply Specialist in a manner that progresses them to self-sustainment. The Supply Specialist shall ensure the ANA understand warehouse operations and how to process and fill parts requests, and the use of computer data systems.
Replaceable parts and batteries shall be exchanged on a one for one basis with an approved MOD Form 14. The Supply Specialist shall lead the ANA and strive to ensure that no more than five percent (5%) of equipment is out of service for parts as calculated on a monthly basis.
Secondary Education with specialized training in procurement, logistics and supply management.
University Degree in Business or Economics would be desirable, but it is not a requirement
Proficiency in reading and writing Dari, Pashto is required and English is (desirable)
Computer skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) would be added value.
Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in provision of procurement and logistics management in government or international organizations.
Advance knowledge of automated procurement systems, experience in handling of web based management systems would add value
