Job Summary

The incumbent of the position is responsible to provide food in Local Kitchen for all CCN’s Staff. Cooking, Cleaning, Ordering Food and doing other requirement for the Kitchen as well as cleaning for all Camp Liz. Under the direct supervision of the Operation Manager the Cook assistant performs the following principal functions relating to project support.

Duties & Responsibilities

Able to prepare meal in absence cook.

Assist the cook in planning the menus.

Keep the cooking area clean & hygienic.

Keep the cooking equipments clean.

Follow & implement the kitchen safety regulations.

Perform the duties of the Cook in his/her absence.

Preparing, and storing of the groceries.

Bakes, roasts, broils and fries meat, fish and fowl and etc.

Maintains records of food used and supply on hand.

Cleans and sanitizes work areas, Offices, Lab, accommodations, Oblation units, if required.

Should check all offices for cleanness to make sure that all the office equipment’s are neat and clean.

Should look after the office assets during / beyond office times.

Carry out any other related duties requested by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Primary School, High School Preferred.

1-2 years’ work experience in the relevant trade, preferably with national or international organization.

Knowledge of job context.

Knowledge about food preparation

Knowledge about nutrition in different foods

Suggesting new recipes & interesting ideas for menu planning

Good communication skills

Should be a team player and coordinate with the kitchen team

Should be physically fit & strong to for lifting heavy pots and pans
