Duties & Responsibilities

1.Experience in development of detailed designs cost estimates
2.Able to develop work breakdown structures
3.Perform cost comparisons and advise the most efficient combination of cost.
4.Obtain material and construction prices for cost estimation.
5.Conduct reviews of BOQs/Cost Estimates prepared by other members of the engineering team or by contractors for accuracy.
6.Tender evaluation and preparation of reports
7.Ability to convey information and ideas in a clear and unambiguous manner
8.Prepared detailed cost breakdown as per the scope including detailed material take off, activity wise resource requirements, indirect costs , etc
9.Conduct site investigation to identify and assess details of scope
10.Prepare independently detailed cost estimates from conceptual stages and process them till finalization
11.Prepare financial proposal including statements, planning inputs, data sheets, techno commercial qualifications in coordination with relevant department
12.To assist the invoicer in the preparation of the actual billing of documents
13.Must be a good team player with capacity to cooperate actively with colleagues to achieve corporate objectives

Job Requirements

1.University degree in Civil Engineering
2.Minimum 3-5 years experience in design, construction assessment and monitoring of projects and their supervision
3.Ability to oversee all aspects of construction projects (technical design, planning, budgeting , logistic and implementation
4.Have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, and performing material takeoffs with CAD.
5.Good communication and negotiation skills.
6.Good and technical qualification in civil engineering
7.Extensive experience in irrigation and roads field
8.Having skills in project analysis and report writing
9.Good working knowledge of English, Dari and Pashto
10.Able to work with a team
11.Good computer skills in particular MS office; any engineering softwear is an advantage
12.Prior experience in project development is preferable
