The purpose of the establishment is to contribute to the improvement of overall living condition of people especially the most vulnerable groups of people including women, children elderly groups and disables through its input with an emphasis on cost effective intervention and capacity building with in Afghan society thus helping them to contribute to the establishment of a peaceful and stable society regardless of cast, faith ,religion ,ethnicity discrimination and political affiliation to the level of self-reliance, self-efficiency and self-determination.

Currently HADAAAF is working mainly in health sector but also involved in education in hard to reach provinces such as Zabul, Urozgan and Nuristan. HADAAF have also implemented projects of short and long duration in Kunar, Laghman and Jalalabad.

Mission and Goal of HADAAF is to participate in the development and rehabilitation of Afghanistan and empowerment of community to decide on what, where and when to do. HADAAF is established to work for the betterment of living condition which can only be achieved through Multi sectorial coordination and works in partnership with different sector.

Job Summary

The COVID-19 nurse is responsible for screening of all patients for COVID-19 who attend the clinic for any purpose, register them and refer them whether into home quarantine or provincial hospital of COVID-19.

Duties & Responsibilities

Major Area of Responsibilities:

• Screening of all patients (Male and Female) for COID-19
• Registration of screened patients in standard registrar
• Refer/advise mild and moderate suspected cases of COVID-19 for home quarantine
• Refer sever cases of COVID-19 to COVID-19 provincial hospital
• Provide support to male doctor and doing OPD in his absence
• Conduct growth monitoring/Screening of under five years old children
• Provide appropriate health education to the clients about COVID-19
• Update all monthly COVID-19 data of in large colors charts (Line, Pie and Bar charts)
• Provide and maintain a good level of hygiene in working place
• Provide weekly/monthly COVID-19 reports to in-charge of the clinic 

Additional Job Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities set out above are not exhaustive and the post holder may be required to carry out additional duties from time to time which are reasonable in relation to their level of skills and experience.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Able to speak/write in Pashto and Dari with clarity and ease.
• Strength in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to change work practices and hours
• Ability to work under pressure
• Cooperative and helpful attitude and willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed

Education and Experience:

• Nursing Degree from recognize Institute 
• At least 6 months’ experience working in COVID-19 project
