Afghan Social Marketing Organization (ASMO), Multi Location
AMSO is implementing the Social Marketing (SM) program under Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector “SHOPS Plus” a USAID funded global project implemented by Abt Associates.
As part of SHPS Plus Project’s work plan, AMSO is intended to conduct the Measuring Access and Performance (MAP) study in all 34 provinces of Afghanistan. The data for MAP study will be collected from ASMO registered outlets that include pharmacies, groceries and superstores/supermarkets. ASMO is looking for data entry clerks who will enter paper survey forms into a Microsoft Access database . Data entry clerks will complete a 1-2 day training at the ASMO office before beginning data entry.
1. Attend and successfully complete one to two day training conducted by ASMO
2. Conduct data entry in coordination with other team members and under the supervision of ASMO’s Database Officer.
3. Ensure that the quality of data entry is at optimal level
4. Continuously report the results to the Database Officer
5. Maintain privacy and confidentiality of data entered
6. Fill in the Microsoft Access data entry tool in a very accurate and clear manner and submit it to Database Officer
1. Graduated from grade 12 of school.
2. Bachelor degree in information technology, computer sciences and or Business Management.
3. Having knowledge of data entry and data management for the purpose of research and data management is an asset.
4. Experience working in Microsoft Access is an asset
5. Fluency in local languages (Dari and Pashto)
6. Strong computer skills and attention to detail
7. Formal and informal training received on data management is an advantage
