CARE International in Afghanistan, Multi Location
Responsible for project data, contract and information management. Compile, analyze data and prepare reports. Facilitate exchange of information among project stakeholders. Coordinate with other staff to optimize the quality and efficiency of monitoring system.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
1. Provide Support for project Data and Contract management and reporting for best efficiency and effectiveness.
• Set up Data Management and reporting system for both project level and field level.
• Prepare CFW reports based on Project Information Report format.
• Prepare accurate qualitative and quantitative reports on time.
• Ensure that the data management service provide accurate and quality information for monitoring activities.
• Ensure establishing database to track progress indicators.
• Train field staff in development of case story and writing standard reports.
• Cross check the baseline data and ensure their accuracy.
• Prepare the project’ photos for projects’ reports.
• Ensure the standard documentation of project.
2. Facilitate exchange of information among provincial offices, projects and
department.
• Support in preparation and management of contracts.
• Coordinate exchange of experiences/lessons learned among field staff.
• Ensure that project activities and development are reflected in CARE publications.
• Gather information about project/communities from field staff for publication
• Prepare quarterly project update to reflect the project development and impacts through reports and case stories.
• Demonstrate teamwork and extend cooperation with other CARE programs and departments.
3. Perform any other identical duty as assigned.
QUALIFICATION (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
EDUCATION: University graduate or equivalent.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of four years work experience in Data and Contract Management or other related fields.
SKILLS: Accuracy, competency in database programs (Excel and Access). Good report designing and report writing skills
LANGUAGES: Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English is required. Must be able to write reports of a high standard in English. Also proficiency in Dari or Pashtu.
TRAITS: Analytic and details oriented, team worker, cultural and gender sensitivity, capacity to establish a conductive working environment.
