A database officer is a professional who manages and maintains databases for an organization. They are responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of data, as well as designing and implementing database systems according to the needs of the users.

Duties & Responsibilities

 Job Description:

As Database Officer your responsible to:

1-  Applications User Modifications (No Authorization)

a-         Change Position

b-        Password Change

c-         Users Branch Transfer

2. Monitoring the performance of Database.

3. Monitoring the Logs of Database

4. Taking backup of Database

5. Maintaining log sheet of Database backup

6. Performing of EOD in FCUBS and FinCLuez system

7. Daily filling of documents

8. Preparing a daily report and submitted to the Line Manager.

9. Other duties which are being assigned by line manager.

10. In case of absence or vacancy of junior staff of this position the responsibilities will be carried out by this position.

11. Other jobs related tasks as assigned by the management.

12. Checking DR side database log shipping

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science.

• Professional training or certificates in (SQL, OCA and OCP).

• At least 3-4 years of related experience in CBS & IT Department in the Bank.
