About AISA

Job Summary

• Organizing all procurement functions of AISA for the acquisition of goods, works, consultancy and non consultancy services.
• Under supervision of Procurement Manager, responsible for management of contracts to ensure the implementation of contracts are carried as per the terms and conditions
• Working closely with Procurement and Contract Manager to assist him in day to day functions, when required

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible to review the entire purchase request from departments/end users to ensure its compliance with AISA’s procurement policies and procedures
• Coordination, preparation and updating of procurement plans in consultation with the Procurement and Contract Manager and management
• Preparation of bidding documents for procurement of works, goods and services
• Preparation and Publishing of tender notice in different medias
• As a member of evaluation committee responsible for evaluation of bids, proposals and quotations for different procurement methods
• Preparing and issuing contracts and purchase orders for different procurement methods on due time to meet the deadline
• Under supervision of Procurement/Contract Manager, the Deputy Procurement Manager will be responsible for monitoring and management of all procurement contracts.
• Performing all kind of logistical activities for the office when required
• Other duties as assigned by Procurement/Contract Manager related to procurement functions

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• University degree, from a recognized University, in Business administration, Commerce, Economic, finance or any other related field
• Minimum of three years work experience in procurement of goods, works and consultancy services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must be computer literate in the use of word processor, spreadsheets and any other applications used in the procurement function
• Should have well developed interpersonal and communication skills, strong negotiation skills, and ability to create team spirit
• Having full knowledge of Afghanistan Procurement Law and procedures.
• Must be a person of honesty and integrity with no criminal record, result oriented and proactive
