 The National Solidarity Program District Manager is responsible of the direct management and supervision of all NSP teams of his district.
 The District Manager is expected to plan, implement and monitor all activities related to NSP in the district.
 The District Manager is representing MADERA NSP Program in the district level to communities, local authorities, to the PMU and RRD.
 The District Manager is expected to create and maintain a very close collaboration with District Managers of other projects of MADERA in the district.
 The District Manager is also expected to have a very close collaboration with MADERA Provincial Coordinator
1) Coordination of the Program in the district level
 To plan, implement and monitor the NSP teams activities in the district
 Holding at least one weekly meeting with NSP staff at district level to review the past weeks’ work plan and to agree on the coming week’s work plan
 To make sure activities are progression according to the work plans
 To conduct regular supervision and monitoring missions to the field
 To identify, evaluate and solve issues related to the program
 To report about the very complex and problematic issues to the Team Leader
2) To represent MADERA NSP Program in the district level
 To meet with the local communities in order to know about their concerns (if any) in relation with the Program. The issues must be solved as quickly as possible
 To meet with the district authorities to discuss the Program, its difficulties and achievements
3) To ensure a close collaboration with MADERA internal colleagues
 To hold regular meetings with NSP Team Leader to inform him about the Program progress in the district and discuss concerns (if any).
 To meet on regular bases with MADERA’s other projects District Managers to share experiences and lessons learned in regard with the project implementation
4) Reporting
 To suggest weekly work plans and send to the Team Leader and/ or his substitute for validation
To prepare and send weekly, bi weekly and monthly Program Progress reports to the Team Leader
• To be graduated at least from high school, Bachelor will be appreciated,
• Excellent skill of work with communities,
• Excellent communication skills,
• To be able to read, write and speak fluently, English and Local languages (Dari and Pashto).
• To have enough skills of computer, especially to be able to work on Excel and Word.
• To be wise, honest, rigorous and hard worker and feel responsibility for his duties.
• Work experience in community driven development and NSP program is compulsory.
