Job Summary

Coordinate with Education team, school principles, and CDC to enable children/students to participate in Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Child Focused Health Education (CFHE) programs and support the activities in the target schools.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Conduct face-to-face interviews with students and the parents, and select the program beneficiaries according to the set criteria.

Support and train community volunteers in the implementation of community based school health program including Child Focused Health Education (CFHE), Early Childhood Development (ECD) program, safety plan opportunities and health campaigns.

Support community committees in the implementation of program (ECD and CFHE) in their communities.

Support the implementation of logistical coordination related to the JPF program.

Support in the capacity building of participants (volunteers) in close coordination with the parents, school teachers, and community members.

Support community committees in the implementation of program in their communities.

Work in close collaboration with education team – develop joint work plans.

Prepare monthly report and collect stories of beneficiary that demonstrate the impact of the program.

Occasional Significant Duties;

Assist in the implementation of education campaigns and school open days.

Assist in the implementation of activities to identify a baseline for school health interventions.

Job Requirements

PERSON SPECIFICATION

At lest 12 grade. And university degree will be more preferred.

Minimum 2 years working experience related to the field of education

Knowledge of computer operating systems especially good skills in operating spreadsheet.

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Ability to work as a team member, demonstrating patience, flexibility, and to manage priorities

Good understanding of office procedures

Good relationships with people from different origins

Fluent in Dari and English

A commitment to the values and principles of SC,

High level of commitment to the principles of development and to the organizational and programmatic goals of Save the Children
Strong interpersonal communication Skills
