To assist the Chief of Party in program technical implementation.
•Contributes to technical design and implementation of work plan to build capacity of Afghan public and private sector technical vocational education training providers.
•Oversees delivery and timeliness of project deliverables, solving problems and, with chief of party and deputy chief of party, recommends changes to technical programming to ensure improved quality and access to technical and vocational education and training through partnerships with public and private sector providers.
•Provides regular and constructive feedback and mentoring to program staff.
•Ensures activities are supported by and promote capacity-building of local training providers.
• Advanced degree from an accredited university in a relevant field preferred
• Prior international donor experience on similar projects (education, curriculum development, education training, teacher development, capacity building, workforce development, etc.)
• 5 years of applicable technical and professional experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
