Job Summary

SHELADIA is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a range of technical positions on a USAID funded program in Afghanistan.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Specialist shall Provide planning, design, and quality assurance services in electric power transmission and generation projects throughout Afghanistan and Provide technical reviews of existing dam and hydro-electric power facilities. Assess potential dams for flood control, irrigation, and power generation.  

Job Requirements

The Specialist should preferably have a master degree in required majors and should be fluent in English and have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in respective professional areas. The first priority will be given to the local engineers with prior USAID, Army Corps of Engineering, and ADB/World Bank experiences.
