Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Receiving VAS projects plan for the year and implementing the projects as per the timelines

Accurate testing on all new services / Nodes / upgrades

Training customer relations staff for the new VAS services and providing them appropriate access to the new services

Escalates anomalies to supervisor in the form of simple reports in order to inform him of any potential unresolved problems

Periodic testing of VAS Services and ensuring proper functionality of the different servicing

Assisting and Fulfilling the marketing request for new products and promos

Issues/problems escalated appropriately

Proper reporting and identifying the statistics for any particular services

Decommissioning of some of services as per management decisions

Liaison and coordinating technical issues related to services with MS team and ensuring that the issue has been resolved and communicating feedback to the concerns

May perform additional duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time

Job Requirements

Education:

B.Sc in any Information Technology related discipline

Experience:
1 – 3 years work experience which includes:

Experience in an ERP environment with exposure to typical Mobile Telecommunication applications and processes

Telecom experience with VAS department

Training:

Application development methodology

Project management

Joint application development

Problem solving and Root cause analysis techniques

Management training in terms of planning, operating, leading and controlling

Specific ERP training (one or more packages e.g. IFS, SAP, BAaan, People soft, Oracle, etc)
