Pajhwok Afghan News aims to reflect the local news via monitoring the local/regional media outlets’ content

Duties & Responsibilities

Translate the content received from the regional outlets from Dari/Pashto to English.
Translate the summarized content from Dari/Pashtu to English.
To perform his/her task both by the digital equipment and manually by a pen and paper.
Edit the translated version of the content sometimes.
Send the hourly summarized English version of reports of the local outlets broadcast to the donor.
Attend the training, if any.
Translated all document accurately and on time.
Consider the donor’s policy and terminology while translating.
Developed reporting format for the English summaries of content

Job Requirements

Full working knowledge in translation section .
The English translator working hours will be from 1:00 till 9:00 PM .
Excellent written communication skills in English . Excellent analytical and summarizing skills. Excellent ability to think critically and interpret data
