Duties & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities and tasks will include but are not limited to:
1. Assist EQUIP Central team specially the Finance Officer to maintain financial records and monitoring systems to record and reconcile expenditure, balances, payments, statements and other day- to-day transactions and reports.
2. Select and enter data from a wide variety of documents, verifying accuracy by checking sources, making necessary calculations and assuring inclusion of all relevant data;
3. Submits necessary documents to MOF- Mustofit with EQUIP team guidance.

4. Maintain all administrative and financial record keeping system up to date all the time for EQUIP and its projects for which responsibilities is assigned.
5. Provides interpretation of administrative and finance rules, regulations and procedures;
6. Keeps record of EQUIP personnel’s leave, absence and controlling staff attendance sheet and preparing its report on time and maintain and update the relevant departments’ staff full information from time to time.
7. Keep constant and regular contact with EQUIP management team between the project and implementing Ngo’s
8. Supervises office equipment, drivers.
9. Performs other duties as required and assigned by Coordinator.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in BBA or Economics or similar.
2. Additional commercial training in accounting or Finance desirable;
3. Good computer skills in MS Package and knowledge of any other accounting package an added benefit.
4. 5 years or more, previous job experience, including at least 2year in the same functional area in government of Afghanistan financial system preferable.
5. Ability to remain focused under pressure, with a commitment to working hard and for long hours;
6. Good interpersonal skills;
7. Keen eye for detail, looking for perfection in all finance matters.
8. Ability to start work at short notice.
