Job Summary

To ensure security of Oxfam staff, premises (office/team houses) and other belongings of Oxfam round the clock.

Duties & Responsibilities

Keep close coordination with base staff for in-out timings of expat staff

Be informed of the arrival of expat staff

Escort to be side with expat staff when travelling any where or when required

Make sure the way is not block by traffic and expat can move in or out of vehicle, as well as enter and exit of the compound

Listen to local radio stations and be informed of any security incidents in city

Make sure the place an Expat is visiting, is not threatened and safe to be visited

Check with Guards on persons visiting to OX Novib guesthouse or office

Report security incidents to Manager and advise as per situations to avoid any incidents

Support with letters dispatch, photocopying, printing, and act as a messenger.

Education minimum grade 12 pass. E

Able to follow set procedures and instructions. E

Demonstrates the ability to work within a team. E

Organised and efficient. E

Strong sense of personal responsibility. E

Good hearing and sight plus good health. E

Good communication skills. Fluency in local languages is essential. A fluent skill in English is an advantage. E

Able to work under pressure and flexible timeframe. E
