About Yasna Development and Support Organization

Job Summary

The ESP instructor will be teaching at the faculties targeted by the host university English Language and Literature Faculty under the supervision of ELCLC English Language Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities


Plans, prepares and delivers ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses to the target discipline area assigned by the host university English language and Literature department.


Searches and develops ESP Materials for the
target faculties.


Coordinates and helps English Language and Literature department in developing ESP text books on regular basis for the assigned faculties.


Makes and Develops quizzes and tests for ESP courses and sharing them with English Language Manager for revision


Meets and briefs Center Manager (CM) and English Language Manager (ELM) about the progress toward ESP classes on weekly and monthly basis.


Conducts himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to ELCLC.


Other duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements


The incumbent must be a BA in English Literature and Language with a minimum of 2 years of experience, having experience in teaching via ICT (Information and Communications Technology) applications or teaching at university level would be a benefit.


Should be fluent in Dari and Pashto (mandatory)


Should have a wide range of knowledge about latest and effective teaching methodologies.


Should have the ability to work in tense environment and ability to handle and solve class problems

Should have the ability to work in team and independently

Preferred Experience: Background of ESP teaching and methodology is considered a Privilege
Languages teaching and Computer Skills
