Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment - ACCI is a strong and united business membership organization representing the entire private sector of Afghanistan. It is the service-oriented, independent, and modern Chamber of Commerce and Investment of Afghanistan. ACCI is a legal independent personality, and the non-governmental, non-political, and non-profitable organization of self-administration of the Afghanistan business community. It protects the rights of the private sector, it coordinates, leads, and supports business activities, and it makes efforts for developing the economy on national and international levels. ACCI strives to provide the best possible services to its members and to the entire private sector of Afghanistan.

Job Summary

Provincial Chamber Executive Manager under the direct authority of CEO is mainly responsible for the executive affairs in the relevant province as well as he/she is responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the employees in the relevant Provincial Chamber. He/she is also responsible for implementation of the ACCI policies and strategies in the relevant province and to set out his/her daily tasks according to the ACCI annual operational plan.

Duties & Responsibilities

ü The ACCI Provincial Director, with respect to the ACCI Law and bylaw, is responsible for the tasks below:

 

ü In respect to the ACCI law, prompt solving of all problems and

achieving the challenges in the relevant Provincial Chamber.

 

ü To cooperate in coordination of all the business related

activities of the relevant province with Governmental and Nongovernmental

Organizations.

 

ü To make the Strategic Plan of the Provincial Chamber in

accordance to the needs of the business community of the relevant Provincial

Chamber.

 

ü To conduct long and short term courses and workshops to

strengthen the capability and skills of the employees in the relevant

Provincial Chamber.

 

ü To implement all the orders and decisions taken by the CEO.

 

ü To create and maintain good relations and temperament between

the Provincial BoD, Center\'s BoD and CEO.

 

ü To recruit the employees according to the HR manual, approved by

Center\'s BoD and CEO as well as avoid hiring his/her relatives in the relevant

Provincial Chamber.

 

ü To promptly transfer the relevant Provincial Chamber\'s income

to the ACCI Bank Accounts.

 

ü To attend the Provincial Chamber BoD meetings regularly and with

consideration to the ACCI Law and bylaw, provide his/her suggestions and

comments specifically in Policy and Strategic Plan making.

 

ü To cooperate in attraction of the business owners and investors

to be ACCI members in the relevant province (Membership Acquisition).

 

ü Performance Evaluation

 

ü Provincial Director is evaluated by CEO or COO annually and then

about his/her further employment with ACCI is decided. Performance Evaluation

is done with consideration of the criteria below.

 

ü Capability in Membership Acquisitions.

ü Ability to implement the annual budget with accurate time and

place allocation.

ü Creating and maintaining good relations, temperament and

environment between Provincial BoD members, Center\'s BoD members and CEO.

ü Strengthening and building up the employee’s capabilities and

skill.

Job Requirements

1. University degree (at least B.A. Economy/Business Administration or in the relevant field) master or higher degree will give priority.

2. At least three years of experience as Director, or General manager in the relevant field.

3. Fluent in Pashto, Dari and English.

5. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
