Job Summary

The Department of Technology of the Ministry of Defense is one of the departments that work in the field of technology. The department is looking for an expert translator who has full proficiency in English and national languages.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Accurately translate written and verbal content from English book and video to Pashto, Dari and vice versa.
• Translate the materials and make them comprehensible for the target ensuring the clarity and understanding. Collaborate with teams to ensure translations align with projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English Literature or related fields is preferred.
• Be familiar with the terminology of chemistry, physics, and scientific subjects. Exceptional linguistic skills with a focus on accuracy and fluency in both languages.
• Strong research skills to remain updated on idiomatic expressions.
• Demonstrative ability to work collaboratively in a team, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and deliver high-quality translations with neutrality and flexibility.
• Proven experience in professional translation at least three years from English to national languages.
