Scope of Work:
The Faculty Development Programme Coordinator will be recruited by SCA and seconded to Ghazanfar Institute of Health Science, will work with GIHS/SCA and ensure that the items of signed MoU are well considered and implemented by respective entities. S/he will be in-charge of overall management of FDP starting from planning, organize, implementation, coordination, evaluation and reporting of the program.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan the FDP aligned with the MoU signed between MoPH and SCA.
Ensure that the participants travel arrangement is timely done.
Develop session evaluation and course evaluation forms and ensure that these forms are timely and properly filled by participants.
Review the evaluation forms (filled by participants) and provide respective feedback to the facilitators in order to consider the code of ethics.
Develop M&E plan to the facilitators and ensure that the visit is properly conducted by facilitators through regular reporting.
Provide FDP report for each phase and submit it to GIHS and facilitate it to be submitted to SCA.
Attend any other tasks related to FDP.
Ensure that Learning Resources Packages and other learning required documents are timely and adequately printed and ready for use of participants.
Provide instruction to the Admin/log assistant for better administrative activities.
Make sure that the participant’s logical expectations are obtained.
Assist SCA in financial issues.
Actively participate in the FDP related meetings before, within and after training.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Professional Nurse or MD with 3 year experience
Ability to organize work, prepare course materials, supervise, motivate, guide and evaluate facilitators and participants
Computer knowledge in the Microsoft Office Package
Experience of teaching and familiarity with competency based learning
Some knowledge of accreditation process for nursing and midwifery programs
Adequate knowledge of adult/participatory learning methodologies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and capacity to lead a professional team effectively
Fluent Dari, Pashto and English languages
Report writings kill (in English Language)
Ability to work independently/with minimum support
