Job Summary

Research Activities

Conduct interviews with a variety of actors (government, traditional leaders, CSOs, youth groups, women's leaders, etc), using a full-range of qualitative research techniques;

Provide insights into the findings of field research, using substantial local knowledge (political, institutional, cultural, etc);

Duties & Responsibilities

Research Management Activities

Support Research Coordinator in coordinating WPSO’s research projects, including: research design, training of surveyors, and supervision of data collection, data entry, management and analysis of data.

Contribute to project management and provide substantial input to development of work plans, research questions, project concept notes, and field research guides

Conduct training of local staff on how to conduct field research, write reports and present research findings to a wide audience;

Ensure timely completion of deliverable;

Identify and develop possible areas for partnership with local organizations, universities, research institutions, etc;

Represent WPSO in coordination meetings, staff meetings, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders;

Coordinating & Organizing Community dialogue.

Sharing transcripts for Audio recorded interviews

Sharing collected data on regular and timely manner

Any other tasks provided by top management.

Job Requirements

Have bachelor degree and with 3 or 4 years experience
