Under the overall supervision of the Project manager, the field supervisor works closely with team (including site engineer) and communities in identification, prioritizing and selection of proper labor-intensive projects, the most vulnerable beneficiaries, inspect constructions/rehabilitation activities, ensuring attendance of labor on project sties. The Filed supervisor is responsible to report progress as well as difficulties etc to his/her direct supervisor
o Work closely with team CDCs/communities in the identification, and selection of most vulnerable beneficiaries (both working and non working i.e. female/disable headed households), in Zari and Kishindeh
o Work closely with site engineer and Assist communities in the identification, selection, supervising and monitoring of labor intensive projects.
o Controlling the attendance of working beneficiaries and site inspection.
o Facilitate distribution of wages to both workers and cash re-distribution to non-working beneficiaries.
o Assist site engineer in technical monitoring of projects and field monitors in the monitoring the food security aspect of the CFW activities.
o Conducting pre-post impact assessments
o Report regularly progress of projects, problems encountered and proposed solutions to his supervisor on regular basis.
o Carry out any other activity as requested
• A least high school graduate
• Sound knowledge of CFW intervention,
• At least 3 years working experience with NGOs or reputed construction companies preferably in implementation of small infrastructure projects in remote areas.
• Computer literate especially MS word and Excel preferably AutoCad
• Independent, pro-active, capable of organizing his/her own work
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Willing to work in remote areas and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure
