Job Summary

The Finance Officer will perform financial activities and will report to and under the guidance of the Provincial Team Leader based in the Kandahar main office

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintains records for finance.
Control of petty cash in USD/Afs.
Translate; specify codes and exchange rate for the purchased items bills.
Prepare daily wage payment for project labors.
Responsible for recording and updating of inventory of equipments.
Controlling of staff time sheets and record leaves balances.
Request for purchasing items and follow up PORWA purchasing procedures.
Control on generator fuel consumption and running hours/maintenance.
Responsible to check maintenance of equipments
Received by” lines; verify cash amount of the transaction
Enter all operating vouchers into the appropriate electronic journal. Identify the proper account codes for each transaction. Check entries for accuracy.
Conduct safe reconciliation at the beginning and end of each day
Ensure that all journals are completed and accurate before submitting to the Accountant for use in monthly reports.
Help ensure financial and accounting integrity of Finance Department systems.
Ensure the daily backup of accounting and other files as required by the Finance Manual
Knowledge of Quick Book is Preferred

Job Requirements

12 grade (High Scholl) good writting and spiking english, Pashto.
