Afghan Compound Support Services (ACSS) is a multi-industry solutions provider, logistics to some of the most sensitive and mission-critical efforts Theater-wide throughout Afghanistan such as (a) maintenance & operations, (b) DFAC supplies, (c) visa and work permit services, (d) fuel supplies and delivery to the most remote areas, (e) provision of manpower including skilled, unskilled, technical and professionals, (f) transportation services and (g) general logistics services. We employ systems, policies, procedures and standards adopted from internationally prescribed rules and regulations which are routinely updated and consistently relayed to our staff through trainings. The Finance & Administration Officer will be responsible for all financial and related administrative matters of Afghan Compound Support Services, and will report to, and work closely with, the Finance Manager, In addition, and Board, The Finance & Administration Officer shall at all times act in accordance with Afghan Compound Support Services policies.
The responsibilities of the Finance & Administration Officer will include:
Overall responsibility for all aspects of financial management and control.
Effective financial reporting for ACSS in a timely, accurate, relevant and informative manner.
Finance
Responsible for and plans, organizes and manages the finance and administration process for the company.
Full knowledge and clearance of (BRT, Withholding, Salary, Rent and Income Tax)
Processing monthly payroll.
Liaising with banks for all finance matters.
Development and implementation of relevant financial policies and procedures, in consultation with the Managing Director/ Finance Manager.
Maintain good and reliable filling system of Finance.
Facilitate timely, accurate month-end closing, cash requests and cash reconciliations.
Maintaining accounts general ledgers.
Preparation of quarterly management accounts for the Board, to include P&L/Balance Sheet and analysis of variances.
Preparation of annual accounts to trial balance stage, and liaising with external auditor.
Management of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
Revenue compliance.
Maintaining Fixed Asset register.
Perform any other Finance related tasks assigned by supervisor.
Admin
Companies Registration Office compliance.
General office administration.
Representing ACSS Logistic in a positive and professional manner, which promotes the vision, mission and strategic priorities of the organization.
Ensuring confidentiality and professional integrity is upheld at all times.
Being flexible, adaptable and available to take on other tasks or duties as requested by the Managing Director.
Closely work with the Operations and Procurement Departments.
Support and supervise guards, cook/cleaner and drivers to make sure the assigned tasks has been accomplished on time.
Supervise in Maintaining of Attendance, registers, log books and etc.
Any Other Administrative task assigned by line manager.
