The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the finance function at the HKCC Afghanistan Office and its projects around the country. He/She will provide a wide range of effective finance service day to day operation of the HKCC Afghanistan Office as per approved budget and utilized plan in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures.
Main duties and responsibilities
• Prepare vouchers / Journals / Receipt Vouchers along with appropriate supported documents for review and approval.
• Manage over all staff salaries and other related expenses reports.
• Write, prepare and document monthly over all running and operational expenses report.
• Prepare and verifies daily reports, control the recorded financial documents and receipts.
• Execute, maintain and document standard filling system.
• Keep original copies of all finance related documents.
Prepare and examine accounting records, manage all Balance Sheet accounts (Receivables and Payables)
• Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.
• Monitor ongoing levels of expenditure on individual programs against budget and provide timely advice.
• Provide support and guidance to the field finance officers stationed at projects sites about finance and accounting policies and procedures.

• Submit of monthly and quarterly financial records and reports to HKCC Management.
• Coordination with field engineers while purchasing the construction materials and supply
• Coordinate with Implementation department to ensure proper assets and resources are available for all activities related to the project
• Maintained good relations and communicating with HKCC Clients/sub-contractors.
• Carrying out all of HKCC financial tasks according with the established work procedure
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance is required
• Three to five years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and other financial operating software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong command of written, spoken English
• Knowledge of Pashto/Dari
