Finance Manager
• Lead the development and consolidation of organizational budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis and trend reviews to assess financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements for individual entities and consolidated group reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of accounting records in line with statutory requirements.
• Manage vendor payment processes, including internet banking and documentation verification.
• Ensure accurate tax calculations, timely filings, and adherence to legal and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and donor rules.
• Strengthen internal controls, verify documentation, and review authorization processes before payment execution.
• Coordinate with auditors and facilitate external/internal audits.
• Monitor and manage daily cash flows and liquidity positions.
• Liaise with local and international banks to ensure effective banking operations and optimize cash management.
• Lead implementation and enhancement of accounting systems to support accurate bookkeeping and financial operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor finance, procurement, and liquidity policies.
• Supervise and mentor finance staff to enhance departmental capacity and performance.
• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA Finalist preferred
• Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 2 years in a Managerial role.
• Strong experience in budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.
• Proven experience with financial systems implementation and process improvement.
• In-depth understanding of national regulations, tax laws, and international accounting standards.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership and team development abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
