Job Summary

The National Consultant will carry out duties including coordinating and managing entire Nomads activities according to HSFP proposal.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and liaise the activities with HSS Unit, GCMU, CIMCI, M&E and CBHC relevant focal points to implement the relevant HSFP interventions.

2. Ensuring that the contractors submit all required documents including the technical reports on timely basis which needs to be aligned with the contracts.

3. Preparing any required contract modifications and obtaining any required approvals where applicable.

4. Ensuring that the contract (s) is/are complete prior to closing due date of the contract (s).

5. Technical review the out puts and outcomes as per the milestone of the activities inline with MOPH concept notes and TOR in coordination with MoPH related departments.

6. Keep proper record of correspondence and documents related to HSS grant management.

7. Produce and prepare annual and ad-hoc reports of the grants.

8. Any other related tasks to be assigned by line manager and head of unit relevant to his/her qualification and expertise agreed up on.

9. Coordinate and liaise with M&E officers of MoPH for monitoring plan and missions and provision of the copy of the relevant documents to the monitoring and evaluation officers,

Duty Station: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) Kabul.

Job Requirements

MD Doctor from a recognized institution


1. With at least 2 year experience of work with NGOs, UN agencies or Government institutions in Public Health. 2.Having the report writing skills and experience to write comments and review of narrative reports. 3.To be able to develop, revise and comment the health project budget. 4.Have an excellent knowledge of English (written, speaking, and understanding). 5.Have a good computer knowledge MS word, excel, power point. 6. Good knowledge and experience in health management and administration. 7. Good communication skills to work and deal with MoPH NGOs UN agencies and other related people.
