Responsibilities of Forensic Medicine Support Consultant(s) is, but not limited to, assisting the FMD in the following areas:
Supporting Educational and Capacity building programs,
Supporting the Service Delivery and Enhancement Programs at Central and Provincial Levels
Supporting Implementation of E-Governance Programs,
Supporting the department in Developing and/or amending Policies, Strategies, Protocols, Operational SOPs (revision of Forensic Medicine Law)
Support and/or Perform other tasks within the scope of works/ responsibilities of FMD
1. To assist in developing organizational plans, policies, strategies, guidelines, protocols, regulations, SOPs, amendment of law and any other documents as required by the FMD
2. To support Educational Unit of FMD in developing capacity building programs and its implementation
3. To assist in coordination for establishment, activation FMD provincial units
4. To assist in establishing, setting up and running of the Malpractice Assessment Unit of FMD
5. To assist in developing concept notes and proposals
6. To assist further development and implementation of FMD e-Governance plans
7. To assist the FMD/MoPH working groups for completion of related assignments
8. To Assist in FM data collection and data analysis of central and provincial sources
9. Ability to travel to provinces
10. To report on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
1. Afghan Nationality
2. MD or Equivalent Degree from a Recognized Medical Faculty attested/Certified by Ministry of Higher Education of IRoA.
3. Preference will be given to those candidates holding Master’s Degree (MPH or MBA) attested/Certified by Ministry of Higher Education of IRoA
4. At least four years of full-time experience with any government or non-government organization working in any of the following fields: Capacity Building, Development, Health Management, Health Service Delivery.
5. Proficiency in National Languages (Dari and Pashto)
6. Proficiency in the English Language
